Inspirational Sports Statue

The 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil today. Over the next month, 32 teams will play 64 matches in 12 cities including Rio de Janeiro, home of the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer.

And I’m using this great occasion as an excuse to post an infamous photo of a kitsch statue of Jesus playing football. 😀
