Yesterday, Clare beat Cork 5-16 to 3-16 at a full-capacity Croke Park in a replay of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final. It proved to be the most thrilling decider in years.

Hurling has been described as everything from “the beautiful game” to “murder disguised as hockey,” but what do visitors to Ireland think of the national game?
