Today is International Children’s Book Day. This year hosted by IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People) Ireland.
In honour of this worthy event, I’ve posted a list of children’s book titles that would be instantly rejected by any publisher. Many such lists can be found on the web. A trend that was reputedly started by the Washington Post Style Invitational in the late 1990s (although I failed to find any links to it) and has continued ever since. The meme has even branched out into inappropriate children’s book covers.
NB: Not suitable for children!
